Probable Objects is an art project about things that don't exist yet, but that the numbers say are coming. I read the data, calculate the odds and design each object before it arrives. They're forecasts, not products, and none of them is for sale.

WHISPER / PROBABLE OBJECTS N.01
A RING THAT SILENCES EVERYTHING THAT RECORDS

By 2033, recording will be everywhere: glasses, pins, phones, always on. Whisper imagines the answer as a piece of jewellery. One tap on its glass signet sends a “do not record” signal, and every device within three meters stops. Green means you’re free to talk, amber means someone is recording but said so, and red means someone is doing it in secret.

The project starts from real data and real signals: smart glasses sales tripled in 2025, courts and clubs are already banning them, and a “do not record” beacon is already patented. Every component inside the ring exists today. With a 27% probability, Whisper turns a privacy problem into an object you’d actually want to wear.
